Joy Will Find You

These pictures are of Eros, the metaphysical dog. The first picture is Eros before he receives a reward; the second picture is of him after he gobbled his delicacy. With total clarity of body and mind, Eros exuberantly celebrates the joy of a treat!

When you truly love, you will find joy, but sometimes, joy just happens, and you can’t resist loving.

Joy Will Find You

With fortitude, you can eventually find joy,
Yet joy is transient, a phenomenon that passes!
From joy’s brief bloom, happiness will blossom;
As joy’s residue, happiness can be endless.
When happiness overtakes you, as it will,
Understand that this is like a virulent infection,
Which you can pass indiscriminately to all.
In the first few days, as your euphoria expands,
Express your madness! Enthrall all you can!
Share as much of your happiness as possible.
If someone becomes ill with your infection,
This contagion can continue, inextinguishable.
And you can be reinfected by this affliction.

The Metaphysical Dog, Eva A MacDonnell,

Reinfected again, over and over! This is the pandemic I would like to see…

For me, joy is the source of all love and between joy and love, happiness naturally follows.

May joy find you, but if you are not looking for joy, you better start crackin…’

Don’t look for a grandiose experience, this expectation can kill your search.

Eros has found joy in a small treat, from which like a seed, the flower of joy can blossom.
