Experience is the hardest kind of teacher

Ever go into a situation anticipating one outcome, one way to manage it, and while it unfolds the whole situation shifts dramatically; leaving you confused? Dazed?

Whatever way it may have resulted, it gave you pause. What happened? How can you attempt to replicate this? What went right? What needs adjustments to align more in the direction that you may have wanted? Essentially, what did you learn from this experience?

We are in a unique position as we experience this pandemic globally and individually. We are being offered experiences we can’t necessarily anticipate or fully prepare for. What are you learning about yourself that you like (and please, try to only focus on your strengths)? What has been giving you joy or relief? What or who are you grateful for? If this experience was your teacher, what lesson are you learning?
